Congress venue - University of Stellenbosch

The IACCP 2012 congress will be hosted by the University of Stellenbosch (US), which is an internationally recognized university. Stellenbosch University is recognized as one of the four top research universities in South Africa. The University lies in the picturesque Jonkershoek Valley in the heart of the Western Cape Winelands. The University has  more than 24 000 students, 800 lecturers and some 50 research and service bodies. The campuses of Stellenbosch University make up a vibrant melting pot of different cultures and various student organisations can be found on the four campuses.

The opening session of the IACCP 2012 conference will convene at the Conservatoire, a modern complex equipped with all the necessary conference facilities offering amphitheater style seating for close to 550 people. The conference program will be hosted in the Schumann, Van der Sterr and Industrial Psychology department which is located in close proximity.

The University of Stellenbosch campus is some 10 minutes away from downtown Stellenbosch, so typically participants will remain on campus most of the time. Shopping facilities are about a 7 minute walk away, the same holds true for restaurants (meals will be provided on campus at the Neelsie).

All participants can be accommodated in student residences that are available on campus. (US student accommodation is based on shared bathroom facilities. Beds with sheets, pillow and blankets are included.) Various guest houses and hotels are also available and are in closely situated to the campus.
